I only get the issue when maximized.</p> <p>I have figured out what's happening while playing around with the windows. It seems that when a window is maximized, the main gray windows container (see it by restoring a window) is slightly shown on the right of the maximized window. That's why, if another restored window just happens to be in the tiny gap, it is shown when clicked on. Also, if you double-click on the gray area, the "Open File" dialog opens. Have you tried minimizing and maximizing a file window (those internal ones) that is in the main editor area? For me it doesn't remember any of the changes Windows does to it (i.e. dragging it to side to make it half screen).
