Well what I had in mind is something like info browser on linux. It's a simple help system which is sort of browsable (you can click on links to browse to other parts of manual). As I'm writing plugin which can extract the text (description) from chm and display it in output window it could be cool to have some control on the link clicking (this way someone could browse the help inside pn without the need of external programs, and it could be even easyly expanded to support pdf and other formats as well).
I hope I was clear about my idea :D

Currently PyPN only supports the global output windows, please file a request for individual ones:

http://code.google.com/p/pnotepad/issues/entry

The output window already supports python-style error messages, so when running a python file as a script you can jump to the error positions. Unfortunately it's not so easy to tell python about the source of a temporary script so that errors can be jumped to for those. It would be good to improve on this. Could you expand on your scenario?

Is there a way to send text from pypn to individual output panel ?

Btw. It would be really nice to have some sort of formating in output windows,
and maybe even links support (that could be linked back to script functions)
this could give some nice possibilities/interactivity to scripts.
