I just had this thought too. I write blog entries offline, and I usually just use a text editor. I have recently played around with writing in using Google Docs, and I realized the only thing I gain is spell checking. If that were in PN, I'd probably not have to use a Document Editor almost ever.

So, ping for this feature request. Is it in the tracker? Hmm...

Yep, it's #1689499 and #1050040. Good to know.

It's something that I'm definitely considering, it would be really sweet to get the squiggly lines working! There are some difficulties to doing it properly though, so it won't be for a while yet.

It would be much easier to just use aspell or something as a tool in the near term.

Hi!
I was wondering if there are any plans to integrate spell checking into pnotepad, or if someone has tried using aspell or similar as a tool. This would be incredibly usefull for such things as latex files.
What would it take to add little squiggly red lines to misspelled words?
Zen
