Hello,
As I found PN very interesting, I would to use with the Groovy language.
For the moment I use the Java scheme to edit my Groovy files (I also addes an external tool to run my Groovy scripts), but I would like to create a separate scheme for Groovy because you have other keywords for example.
How can I proceed? I wanted to start with a java.scheme but it is not in the schemes directory.

You can find Java in the cpp.scheme (along with some other similar languages). You could add Groovy there. Just remember to add whatever extension Groovy uses to extmap.dat so that PN selects Groovy scheme automatically.

It works: I added Groovy in the cpp.scheme, and changed extmap.dat.
Groovy comes with new key words (in, as, def).
Also, in Groovy language, you can have multilines, enclosed in ''' or """" characters.
For example:
def s = '''
Multiline
Second
'''
Syntax highlighting doesn't work well with multilines; how can I change this?

Hi Bertrand,
Could you post the scheme as you have it so far and I'll see if I can work out how to do multiline. I think because this concept isn't in C++ and because it uses the same delimiters as normal strings that it might be difficult with the default lexers.

In extmap.bat I added .groovy=groovy; and in the cpp.scheme file, I added:

Essentially it's a copy of the keyword-class element whose name attribute is "java", and I just added theses key words: as def in.
To be complete about multilines in Groovy: you can have multi lines enclosed in triple simple quote ('), or in triple quote (""").
