   First of all I'd like to say that I use Programmers Notepad every single day, it has all the features I need when coding PHP/Perl/Tcl with the exception of one.
   So I'm just wondering if PCRE (perl compatible regular expressions) is planned for future releases?

   Yes, PCRE for all regular expressions is planned - it just hasn't happened yet because getting the information from scintilla into PCRE in an efficient way is hard.
