   Some days ago, I changed font in Options->Style from Trebuchet MS to Bitstream Vera Mono (I had to display a file in a fixed-width font). After a while, I wanted to change back to Trebuchet MS, but displayed font was actually Arial (not sure it's Arial, but it's different from Trebuchet MS anyway).

   The problem is that for about 80% of the available fonts, now when I choose one of them, it's always the same Arial-like font that is displayed. I tried to uninstall-reinstall, but it didn't change. Maybe that deleting the configuration files may help, but I don't know where they are (eg in the registry, or some directory?)

   Anybody aware of this problem, or who can help?

   Hi, I think this was a bug that has been fixed in the current development builds, please try:

   http://pnotepad.org/files/interim/pnsetup.exe

   and let me know if you can now set fonts properly. You may need to check the charset and codepage options in "Defaults" after the upgrade - that is what is causing the problem with your current build.

   I have the same problem and have just downloaded the build posted above, yet the problem persists. Pretty much all fonts turn into Arial except for a couple fixed-width fonts like Lucida Console and Courier New. Though, Bitstream Vera Sans Mono and Consolas still revert to Arial.

   Edit: Hmm...yes, I changed character set to default and it seemed to fix it.

   Ok, the Character Set had an empty value. When I changed to "Default", it works. Thanks!
