Menus are messed up when standard toolbar is hidden

On a default install, I goto View, Toolbars, and uncheck Standard. This causes the menus and toolbars to rearrange strangely, and I cannot use the Alt+V shortcut to open the View menu.

Messed up menus after hiding "Standard"

I have to click on the double arrows, then goto View, Toolbars, and then uncheck the rest. Once all the toolbars are gone, the menus are back to normal.

Weird, you're absolutely right. I'll need to look into this. Have you filed a bug on sourceforge?

Wanted to make sure it was a real bug first. Filed now:
Bug 1704684

Also, if you hide toolbars in reverse order (starting with Schemes), this doesn't happen.
