Hey,
This isn't in bug reports because I'm not 100% it was pn which caused the problem, but I believe it was. As far as I recall I was using the file browser, something to to do creating a folder, and I think I accidentally dragged + dropped one. No fuss, I moved it back and all my files were as I wanted.
However I have also ended up with a massive nest of directories layouts/landings/layouts/landings/.... and so on for at least 600 children. It appears some kind of bug looped and created them until something stopped it.
Like I said I can't be sure it was PN but I can't think of anything else, I'm having a whale of a time getting rid of them (Windows wont touch it because there are files with names longer than NTFS supports, and Linux seems to be simply doing nothing when I try to delete it).
But more to the point I wanted to bring this up in the hope that a code review or something might prevent it in future! When I get back into Windows I'll see if I can make it happen again.
