   The file settings/installClipCache.xml is not rebuilt when Programmer's Notepad is run. Every time I modify my clips I have to delete this file.

   Yes, this is being worked on. What version are you using, and where are you placing your clips? In the current 2.0.9 builds it should work ok if you put your clips in the user settings directory.

   I am using 2.0.9.872-devel, specifically the portable build. I am putting the clips in the clips folder. Should I be putting them in the settings folder instead?

   Yes, please put them in the settings folder.
