by the way,
output window does correspond to UTF-8 ?
If it is not so, I cannot read error message of compiler.
I am using version 2.0.9.970 on Vista SP1 Japanese version.

PN DeveloperYes that's true, the output window is not currently UTF-8 - sorry! Please file a bug and we'll get that changed.

Memberthis problem was solved.
I did as follows.
Tools->Options->General->Defaults
Code Page: Unicode(UTF-8)
Character Set: Shift-JISoutput window seems to function correctly synchronously by this setting.
However, there is bug in 2.1.1.1050

PN DeveloperAh yes, defaults will work, we just don't support it if your default is not Unicode - good find.
