   When I do search, no matter "Find" or "Find in files", the check for the "Match whole words only" and "Match case" are unchecked automatically sometime.

   The state of those checkboxes is preserved (if you uncheck them they stay unchecked).

   Now I know the problem. Nux is right except after using "find next current word", the checkbox will not be preserved.
