   I would love to see a quick macro tool something like NP++'s macro tool. Something that would record key stroke and then with the hit of a key or two reproduce the strokes.

   Agreed.

   This is one of two things that keep me from switching from NotePad++, the other being document compare.

   If you install the PyPN extension, you can already record and replay macros - and then tweak them afterwards by editing the python code that's generated for you.
